With the 2026 Fall Release, InsurOps adds commercial P&C insurance operations alongside the resident programs already live on the platform.
It connects multifamily owners, brokers, risk advisors and their counterparties across the risk lifecycle. A governed risk data layer links operational data to source documents and supports 160+ agentic workflows. Model Context Protocol (MCP)-compatible endpoints provide access to normalized data in the risk data layer, including imported data. [1]
InsurOps provides a rich, secure data foundation for a new generation of AI-assisted multifamily risk management and analytics applications.
[1] InsurOps supports live connections to specific systems and provides integration interfaces. Customer-specific, carrier and broker system integrations require separate implementation and are outside this release. See the MCP Toolkit Reference Guide.
Each location links to its policies, property data, claims, certificates, contacts and quotes.
The risk data layer is organized by location. Upload a statement of values (SOV) or complete the template to create location records. InsurOps creates records for additional locations identified in subsequent documents.
Policies and endorsements
Each policy record lists its covered locations, approved endorsements and version history.
Program tower
InsurOps builds the program tower, including its layers and participants, from binding instructions and assigns each incoming policy to its layer.
COPE
InsurOps records each construction, occupancy, protection and exposure (COPE) value with its source, approver and change history.
Claims and loss runs
Location analytics report claim aging, severity and incurred losses by coverage line, using data from loss runs.
Certificates
Each location record lists its certificate holders, certificate of insurance (COI) requests and returned certificates.
Contacts and roles
InsurOps lists each location’s property manager, asset manager, broker and other contacts by role.
Quotes and renewals
A location’s COPE data is validated prior to execution of the submission and quote-to-bind workflow.
Total cost of risk
InsurOps reports the location’s total cost of risk (TCOR): insurance premiums, retained losses, loss prevention and risk control, administration, and resident default losses net of recoveries.

Contacts
Link contacts from Global Contacts to each location by business role. Contact roles identify each person’s business function; they do not determine access permissions or task routing.
Illustrative data.
InsurOps maintains COPE for each location and records each value’s source and history.
Each COPE field has an assigned data owner, typically a property manager. Data owners receive tasks for missing values, and designated reviewers approve the values. Approved COPE data is reused for the next renewal and validated before execution of each submission and quote-to-bind workflow.

Add, upload, assign
Enter values, upload COPE documents, or assign and track a task for the data owner.
From supported documents
InsurOps extracts COPE values from supported incoming documents and displays each value with its source for review.
History and audit
All COPE values, including manual entries, require a recorded source and an approver. The change history identifies who changed each value and when.

How it is created
Drop in a document. Get structured data.
InsurOps classifies 20 commercial P&C document types, extracts the data and routes it to the right module. A reviewer approves extracted policy data, endorsement items and COPE values before they change the record. Routing and certificate matching are automatic.
- Email monitoring. Documents sent to the InsurOps inbox by brokers, carriers and staff are processed on arrival.
- Side-by-side comparison. Compare a proposal with a policy, or two SOVs, straight from the source documents.
- Confidence on every field. Reviewers see each extracted value next to its place in the source.
All 13 coverage lines
Commercial Package (CPP) · Businessowners (BOP) · Commercial Property · Commercial General Liability · Commercial Auto · Umbrella / Excess · Workers’ Compensation · Cyber · Directors & Officers · Employment Practices Liability · Management Liability · Professional Liability · Pollution
InsurOps routes supported documents to the appropriate module.
Document Intelligence processes 20 commercial P&C document types: policies in 13 coverage lines and seven other document types. It classifies each document, extracts its data and routes the document to the appropriate module. Three more types (SOVs, binders and proposals) have limited use.
20 document types
They include policies in 13 coverage lines, plus endorsements, binding instructions, quotes, supplementals, COPE documents, loss runs and certificates.
Three for limited use
SOVs are uploaded manually in Locations and can be compared in Document Comparison. Binders and proposals are supported in Document Comparison only.
Email monitoring
Document Intelligence processes supported documents received in the InsurOps monitoring inbox from brokers, carriers and the owner’s staff. The Email Monitoring tab shows each message’s status; when extraction is partial or fails, the user resends the email or uploads the documents manually.

Compare documents as soon as they arrive.
Compare any two supported documents, including binders and proposals. Document Comparison uses source documents directly and does not require prior approval of extracted data. Document Chat answers questions about a single document from that document’s text.
Compare before extracted data is approved
Compare renewal and expiring terms before extracted data is approved.
Any supported pair
Compare policy to policy, binder to policy, proposal to quote, or quote to quote.

Review policy terms by date.
Policy Management supports 13 coverage lines. InsurOps links each endorsement to the policy it amends. Document Intelligence classifies each endorsement item as adding a new term or altering an existing one. A reviewer approves each item in Endorsement Review before InsurOps adds it to the policy’s version history.
Versioning filter
Select a date to review the policy terms and approved endorsements effective on that date. InsurOps uses endorsement effective dates to determine which changes apply.
Item-level review
Each endorsement item requires separate review and approval. InsurOps records approved items in the policy’s version history.
InsurOps builds each program tower from binding instructions.
InsurOps builds each program tower from a Confirmation of Binding Instructions (CBI) document. It assigns each incoming policy to the program and its layer, records participation details, and links the program to its covered locations.
Layers from the CBI
InsurOps extracts data on layers, limits, attachment points and participants from binding instructions.
Layer assignment
InsurOps automatically assigns each policy to its layer and records the insurer’s participation percentage.

Send requests from a policy record or RFQ and track replies in the same email thread.
Send loss run requests, endorsement requests or other messages to brokers and contacts from a policy record or the RFQ tab in Quote Management. InsurOps sends each message from the sender’s email address, copies its monitoring inbox and captures replies in the original thread without changing the subject line. Attachments are routed to Document Intelligence.

Stale request notifications
Hot Fix 1 (October 7) added these notifications. InsurOps notifies the sender when a request has received no reply for 10 business days. The sender can resend the request or follow up.
Brokers, risk advisors or in-house risk teams manage renewals in InsurOps.
Renewal submissions combine COPE, loss history, SOVs and carrier supplementals from multiple parties. Quote Management coordinates the 12-step workflow using shared location data. The owner can review progress at each step and retains authority over quote decisions.
If the carrier has an organization record in Global Contacts, InsurOps automatically attaches supplementals to that record.
See total cost of risk across the portfolio.
TCOR Analytics reports portfolio TCOR across five components. Filter by location and reporting period, or select a component to review its cost breakdown. Review claims and loss performance for the portfolio or a selected location.
TCOR Analytics accepts manual entries and imports from existing systems for costs not recorded in policies.
Resident default losses arise from lease defaults, including skips and lease breaks, and are reported net of recoveries. They are recorded in accounting entries separate from other retained losses.
The optional Resident Risk Analytics add-on is required to calculate resident default losses net of recoveries and provide detailed analysis in the Resident Default Loss tab.
Every component
TCOR includes insurance premiums, retained losses, loss prevention and risk control, administration, and resident default losses net of recoveries. The report shows each component’s share of total TCOR.
Cost breakdown
The retained-loss component includes deductibles paid, self-insured retention losses, uninsured losses and loss adjustment expenses.
Claims performance
Loss analytics report portfolio and location claims performance using data from loss runs already in InsurOps.
Brokers, advisors and property managers access assigned tasks and permitted data in InsurOps.
Brokers typically handle most risk and insurance tasks, with advisors, property managers and in-house teams handling other responsibilities. InsurOps supports the owner’s operating model and provides visibility into each party’s tasks and data.
Who signs in
Brokers, advisors, property managers, carriers, third-party administrators and in-house staff with InsurOps accounts sign in to access their assigned tasks and permitted data. Counterparties without an account reply to requests by email, and brokers can review a submission through a secure link.
Role setup
During onboarding, Assurified configures access permissions and task-assignment rules to match the owner’s operating model. More than 50 least-privilege access roles enforce segregation of duties.
What the owner sees and decides
The owner’s executives review location data, policies, quotes and TCOR and retain their decision authority, including quote decisions.
Data ownership
Each value’s history records its source and identifies who changed it and when. The owner retains its data and history when changing brokers or advisors.
The same location data supports each use case the owner adds.
Add use cases based on priority and value. Modular architecture and flexible workflows support incremental adoption and rapid time to value in weeks, not months.
Statement of values for a renewal
The broker, advisor or in-house team compiles COPE values and their source references, requests missing values from data owners and prepares the SOV for approval.
Quote comparison and bind request
InsurOps compares the premium, limits, deductibles, retentions and forms in each carrier quote with the expiring terms. It sends the owner’s decision to the broker or advisor. If binding is requested, the responsible party arranges binding with the carrier.
Acquisition risk onboarding
InsurOps extracts data from seller policies, loss runs and SOVs. It also compares supported documents and creates location records for the properties before closing.
Portfolio TCOR reporting
TCOR Analytics reports five TCOR components by location and period. It also reports claims and loss performance.
Policy and endorsement control
InsurOps classifies supported documents and routes endorsements for review and approval. It records approved policy changes in the version history and builds program towers from binding instructions.
Portfolio document intake
InsurOps extracts data from existing policies, endorsements, loss runs and certificates and associates documents with the relevant locations. Reviewers approve all policy and endorsement changes before InsurOps updates the corresponding records.
